His first movie as a producer ‘Yug Dekhi Yug Samma’ was a huge box office hit where legendary actor Rajesh Hamal debuted with lead role. Therefore, his film career started with an enormous success and followed throughout with more than 20 other ground breaking Nepali movie productions including Nata, Hero, Himmat, Kismat, Kasle Choryo Mero Maan, Andaaz, Mangalam and so on. He launched many debut actors who ultimately became hit superstars like legendary sensations: Mr Rajesh Hamal, Mr Shree Krishna Shrestha, Mrs Rekha Thapa, Mr Aryan Sigdel and many more film personalities.
Mr Chhabi Raj Ojha has also been honored with prestigious awards like ‘Paribartan Samman’ and ‘Aviyan Shree’ in the year 2012 and 2013 respectively. He also received ‘Box Office Appreciation Award’ in 2014 for prospering and providing continuous service to the Nepali Film Industry. He is the Board of Director of leading film companies such as FD movies and Digital Cinema Nepal (DCN). Currently, he owns his very own ‘Chabbi Raj Production’.
