Phadindra Timsina (Bipin Karki) is an innocent, poor and hardworking man. He finds a sack full of three crores Nepalese rupees, stolen from a bank. He then consults with his three friends Jayas (Rabindra Singh Baniya) and Munna (Rabindra Jha) in order to hijack money.
Jatra is directorial debut by Pradip Bhattarai and produced by Rabindra Singh Bania, Singe Lama & Yadav Paudel under the banner of Shatkon Productions. This movie was succeed to change the trend in Nepali Cine Industry in Humorous Comedy Genre.
Jatra won the Title of “Best Movie of the Year 2016”; it also bagged many awards in different categories. It was loved by all the age group audience and also appreciated by all critics.
Team Jatra is working on pre-production of its sequel named as “Jatrai jatra” which has set its initial release date on Falgun 17, 2075
