Born on 22 Sep, 1984 in the Eastern mid-hill district, Bhojpur, Raj Sagar arrived Kathmandu after complecting his School. As a common talent student with 78% in SLC, he joined ISC at Tri-Chandra Campus.

However, his true vocation was the music. So, leaving the world of science he has been continuously devoting on Music during then. And, these 18 years' devotion has established him as one of the successful vocalist and music composer in Nepalese music scenario.

As an emerging singer and composer, his journey too was not as easy as one imagines. Furthermore, without any former musical course, to pursue the carrier in the sector of art like music itself is beyond one's imagination.

The actual musical journey of Raj Sagar begins when he passed the vocal taste from Radio Nepal in 2062 BS (2007 AD). In the same year 2007 (2063AD), he participated on 2nd Nepali Tara, top reality show of singing competition in Nepal and secured his position on top forth.

The achievement further led him to seek his own fortune on the sector and next year he emerged with first solo album. His 13 minutes long solo album's song 'Yo Mayako Rup Nai Hasilo' is released in 2064 BS. Then in 2068 BS he is well noticed with the song 'Dadiyaa Thapideu' in collected in Gunaso album in collaboration with other notable artists.

'Dadiya Thapideu,' 'Ajhai Baki,' 'Chiso Shahar,' 'Yadka Lahar,' 'Aakha Banda,' are very remarkable songs by Raj Sagar till now. During this period his contribution on this sector is marked by his achievements.
