Folk Arts and Performing Management

2012- Present – Everest Nepal Cultural Group, (International Folk Festival) Nepal

• Organizing different community festivals throughout the calendar year in the association with different race, national, and ethnic groups.
• Getting involved with local officials such as: Art Council, Art Centers, and any cultural organization for the betterment for international folk dance, music, language and education.
• Producing folklore dance, music and cultural events with local artist including different communities.
• Promoting Nepalese dance music and cultural in the Nepalese society as well as abroad and having cultural exchange between Nepalese and International Region.
• Conducting cultural workshop in different schools and teaching youth the importance of the folk dance, music and education.
• Creating the youth dance group, teaching them Nepali folk dance, Contemporary dance and participating in different international Folk Dance Festival throughout Nepal and Abroad.
• Grant writing, getting sponsorship from local business and art related officials.
• Attending different cultural arts seminars, workshop. PowerPoint presentation, interacting with art community.
• Creating after school program for kids to teach them different kind of cultural musical and dance classes.
• Working with new immigrant community, helping them with the required information for their new life in Nepal, job searching, and promoting their own culture.

• Participating to international folk festival in different country as Group Leader, Attending meeting with different group leader, choreographer, organizer and discussing about the Festival, Schedule, Stage, Dance, Music, Gift Exchange and festival related topics.
• Organizing Regional, National and International Folk Festival in Nepal. Producing music, dance, food and costume exhibition.
• Working in joint venture with local authorities, government, NGOs and INGOs to promote the folk festival.
• Working as media coordinator, writing festival article, creating media content and working with media officials to promote the festival.
• Recruiting volunteers for festival, training them and working as team lead with them. 
• Writing proposal, fund raising, getting sponsorship from the businesses and funding agencies.
• Scheduling the day to day activities, writing rules and regulations for participant, volunteer and organizer.
• Working with Hotels, Transportation Company, Sounds, Stage, lights and food stalls.
• Budget management, resource allocating, and work distribution.
