With a career spanning over two decades, Utsab has established himself as a versatile artist, showcasing his talents in various aspects of music. As a singer, he has lent his voice to more than 100 songs. In addition to singing, Utsab has also showcased his skills as a music composer and lyricist. With over 70 compositions and lyrics to his credit, he has demonstrated versatility and creativity in crafting captivating melodies and poetic verses. His popular songs include 'Helambu Bazar', 'Ranana Rankane', 'Dhading Gajuri', 'Rato Sari Rato Pachaura', 'Sal Ghari Ma Saal' and many more.

In 2000, Utsab Subba Lama released his first album titled 'Jhilke Daju Ram Kumar'. Over the years, he has released six musical albums.

Utsab's talent and contributions have not gone unnoticed, as he has been recognized with several prestigious awards. He has received the 'Genius Music Award 2019', 'Jyoti Films Music Award 2021', 'National Box office Music Video Award 2022', 'Natyashwor Music Award 2022', and 'Uddhar Khabar International Music Award 2023'.

Utsab has also served as a jury member in various music competitions and reality shows. Additionally, he is a lifetime member of the 'National Folk & Duet Song Academy Nepal', 'Association of National Musicians Nepal', and 'Global Actors Federation'.
